
About the Role
The Communications Intern will work with staff and volunteers on digital, promotional, and event media. The Communications Intern will help develop local communication initiatives, website and social media content, and assist in the creation of organization materials.
Independent preparation of email marketing materials.
Communication with the company's business partners, franchise owners, customers, and potential customers.
Maintain organizational calendar and implement organizational use.
Research and identify potential partnerships for marketing and appearance opportunities.
Assist with development of creative concepts and marketing strategies for promoting the work of the organization.
Foster relationships with local media and help draft press releases and reach out for event marketing
Community management of online and offline supporters
Manage photo and video content.
Maintain communication between international organization and the Her Excellency International family.
Interns will receive a stipend of $200 USD per month paid on a twice a month basis for their 1-2 per day Monday-Friday commitment.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Possess skills at initiating innovative ideas and judging correctly what will appeal to target audiences
Exceptional writing ability
Ability to collect and synthesize information from diverse sources
Must be creative & resourceful
Must be able to multi-task
Experience with using social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Skills with Wix and Canva or willingness to learn
